Animal lovers, golf lovers: combine your passions! The very first Balls in the Ruff Golf Tournament takes place right here in your neighborhood. It’s not expensive, it’s for a great cause, you’ll get out on the links, and there are various ways to help our animal friends. Here are a few more details…
Date: Friday, September 16, 2016
Time: Noon to 7 p.m.
Location: Tahoe Donner Golf Course
Cost: $150 per person, $40 per additional dinner guest
Sponsored by MOBO Law, and organized by your Truckee Humane Society, this feel good, do good event offers a lot for the single registration fee: 18 holes of golf, a cart, a golfer “goody bag”, and dinner. In addition, this scramble-style tournament offers up a few fun contests on the course, a huge grand prize for your hole-in-one accomplishments, lots of refreshments, and awards at the dinner.
The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe (HSTT) always needs your assistance. There are many ways you can help. One of them is their Kibble into Cash Program. If you follow the link they’ve provided to Nature’s Select website, and enter the referral code HSTT before you complete your checkout, for every bag of kibble for your pooch or kitty, they’ll make a generous donation (from $3 to $12, depending on the size of the bag your order). Better still, the heavy bag of chow is top quality, and delivered to you.
Balls in the Ruff has a few sponsors already, but besides your registration, you can become a sponsor for as little as $250. To investigate sponsorship opportunities, please click this link.
