Ripperoo’s Rail Jam
Fridays and Saturdays in December from4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Northstar’s Ski and Ride School will host Ripperoo’s Rail Jam Fridays and Saturdays throughout December from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on the Overlook. The introductory park clinic is free to kids on skis or snowboards and includes instruction from Northstar’s Ski and Ride School Coaches. Kids 12 and under learn the fundamentals of how to tackle their first rail slide and receive tips on how to ride other terrain park features. Kids will also learn general terrain park etiquette and safety. Guests must bring their own equipment. All participants must have a signed waiver and be accompanied by a parent at all times. The rail jam is subject to weather and conditions.
Mountain Table Dinner
December 19, 2014 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. (Load Big Springs Gondola at 5:30pm)
The Mountain Table Dinner Series offers a unique dining experience in Northstar’s iconic Zephyr Lodge. The December 19 dinner features Louis M. Martini Winery complemented by a menu featuring locally and regionally sourced produce and proteins prepared by our Executive Chef Steve Anderson. Guests will not only enjoy a fantastic menu, breathtaking views and live music, but there will be a few surprises as well! Seating for all dinners will be family style.
Northstar will support a local non-profit at this dinner, Tahoe Food Hub, as part of our EpicPromise program.

Meet Santa!
Bring your Christmas wishes to Santa directly at the Village at Northstar December 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd & 24th from 12pm – 2:30pm. EpicMix Photographers will be onsite to take your picture with Santa!
Sleigh Rides
Kid’s of all ages can enjoy a Sleigh Ride through the Village! Sleigh rides will start and finish by Mikuni. Sleigh Rides will be available December 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24 & 25th from 12pm – 3pm.
Ripperoo Parade
Join Ripperoo December 20, 21, 22, 23 & 24 at 3:45pm for a fun and festive parade in the village! All ages are welcome; there will be noisemakers, plenty of smiles, and you get to hang out with Ripperoo!
Letters to Santa
Kids can write letters to Santa in various locations in the village. Letters will be special delivered to Santa in time for Christmas.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
December 24, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Join Northstar and Tahoe Resort Ministries for a Christmas Eve Candlelight Interdenominational church service. The service will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will last for approximately 45 minutes ending in candlelight. The service will be held in the Northstar conference rooms, located on the lower level of the Village. Northstar will host hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies to warm you up while celebrating Christmas. All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there!

Look for Santa on the slopes, festive cheer in the Village, and enjoy skiing and snowboarding with Olympic Gold Medalist Jonny Moseley. In the Village, cozy up around fire pits while you listen to carolers and sip hot cocoa. Squaw’s Olympic Ice Pavilion at High Camp, and SnoVentures Activity Zone are a perfect place to spend the holidays with family.

Ski and Ride with Jonny Moseley
December 24-31, from 2:00-4:00pm
Ski and ride with Chief Mountain Host and Olympic Gold Medalist, Jonny Moseley. Join Jonny on a free 2 hour mountain tour of Squaw Valley starting at the Gold Coast Demo Center at 2pm. Have our demo center staff find the perfect ski for you that is best suited for the days conditions before heading out on the slopes.
Moonlit Showshoe Tour and Dinner
After the mountain closes and the winter moon rises, experience a snowshoe tour to the mid-mountain Chalet at Alpine Meadows. Enjoy an intimate seated dinner where you’ll be served an Alps-inspired menu with dishes like potato cheese soup, chicken cordon bleu and apple strudel. This unique experience is only available for 50 guests and available during select dates during the winter season.
All guests should dress appropriately for cold winter hiking. The distance from the Alpine Lodge to the Chalet is approximately 1/4 mile uphill. Guests unable to meet the physical requirements of the 1/4 walk will not be able to attend. In the case of bad weather, a snow cat will be used to shuttle guests to and from The Chalet.
